Hadnt been following this as it seemed a nailed on dull draw on a
typical road in Rawalpindi. But no, Bdesh skittle Pakistan and win by 10
wkts, with their MP from the ousted govt taking 3 wkts. England has had
peers and princes, but has a sitting MP ever played for us or anyone
else?

I don't know about other countries, but not for England AFAIK. The
closest might be Stanley Jackson, who played his last Test in 1905 (and
was England's Ashes-winning captain, as well as topping the batting and
bowling averages) and became an MP in 1915. ISTR that Ted Dexter was a
candidate in the 1959 General Election but wasn't elected.

Ted challenged Jim Callaghan in the 1964 General Election
