In the Oz Big Bash, the 2 Popes, our Olly and the mad ginger oz leggie,
teamed up
to help the Adelaide Strikers beat the Melbourne renegades, and gave us
ct Pope b Pope, and st Pope b Pope. I didnt realise that Olly has never
played any white ball cricket for england, which if true must be quite
unusual nowadays for a top 6 batter.

Not that unusual. In the last 10 years, Burns, Compton, Hameed,
Jennings, Lawrence, Lees, Lyth, Stoneman and Westley all batted in the
top 6 in Tests and haven't played ODIs or T20Is. However, Burns is the
only one apart from Pope to play 20+ Tests.

It's particularly surprising that Lawrence is in the list, given that
last summer he seemed to bat in Tests as though they were T20s.
