Derek Underwood has died aged 79. He was 1 of my favorite bowlers. Apparently ICC have
done retrograde rankings and made him no1 1969-73.

Yes, and he was also no. 1 for 3 short stints in 1974 and 1975.

course, with little prospect of anyone challenging his record for at
least several more years.
